The report suggests the Resident Evil 4 remake has become overhaul

When it comes to the horror genre of survival, there are a few major franchises that really helped duplicate this genre. For example, back on the original PlayStation console platform we received the first installment of Resident Evil, a franchise that will survive to this day. This IPT is such a big hit that we have not only mainstream installments, but also spin-off games with cinematic film adaptations. Right now the focus is on the upcoming main line installment, Resident Evil Village.

However, there are rumors that Capcom is making more remakes. In the past, Capcom has provided remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, however, there is no word on whether we will see a remake of Resident Evil 4. Now Capcom’s known over-the-top sources have reached out to VGC to warn the publication of what’s going on. Apparently, Capcom seems to have some disagreement over the development of the Resident Evil 4 remake. If this report is true, it seems that Capcom’s M-to-Over team has gone as far as a true remake on this project that shows everything from the original installment.

According to reports, Capcom seems to be trying to make some changes in the game. Instead of a complete reconstruction, it would be a kind of revision that could bring about some change in the narrative, the environment, or the mechanics. As a result, Capcom Division 1 team has been brought in to lead this remake development which may mean that we will have a few notable developers in this project, some of which may be out of the original title development.

For now, it’s a wait-and-see game to see if this remake has been officially announced. As mentioned above, the main focus right now is the upcoming Resident Evil Village title that is being created for the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S platforms.
