Ed Boone is a renowned video game developer as one of the developers behind the iconic fighting franchise Mortal Kombat. That series has been on the arches for years now and now on traditional themed gaming platforms. With the release of each new installment there is a story attachment, some new guest fighters as well as several fan-favorite characters. In some ways, thanks to the inspirational DLC fighter packs released after the launch-post, seeing who’s fighting
Currently, the latest installment is Mortal Combat 11 which was released last year. It was a hit just like the previous release, Mortal Kombat X, similarly, there are several guest fighters that players can control. Fans are also vocal about what fighters they want to see as well as features, as there are significant past fighters that weren’t added to the roster at first that would signal dedicated fans to return. In addition, some fans suggest joining the mix of fighters from other IPs.
For example, in Mortal Kombat 11 we saw Terminator, Joker, RoboCup, and even John Rambo set foot in the game. However, there are still fans who request both Ed Boone and the Netherlands studios to join in the future. Recently, Ed Boone was interviewed by the Festi Game Twitch channel where the Mortal Kombat franchise comes up with a request for a strange guest fighter.
There were a number of unique requests, but it was he who received the odd request from Ed Boone. Fans are asking for a playable character from Ed Boone to perform in Mortal Kombat, but this is a guest fighter that you won’t be seeing any more soon. Ed Boon quickly stopped requesting because not all of the fun could be found seeing his character cut off due to some unique loss of life.
