The first supposed official render of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has now leaked showing some significant design improvements but has raised more questions.
We were led to believe that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 launch will launch separately from the Galaxy Note 20 series but it may come earlier than expected. This render largely confirms the rumors that the naming conference will move to meet the Galaxy Z flip in early 2020 – hence the second place in the Galaxy Z dynasty.
The leaked render of Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been shared without any source by the famous Samsung Liquor @ Isu Universi on his Twitter account but it seems to have come from a post on China networking site Weibo. He first threw a pixelated image without recognition before sharing a slightly less pixelated version which gives us an amazingly beautiful look in the upcoming foldable.
It was featured in the presentation with the same “Mystic Bronze” color as the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Bud. As we have seen with last year’s original Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S10 series, there is a very high probability that Samsung will announce the second generation foldable after confirming the availability during the original article.
While this isn’t the most high-resolution image we’ve ever seen on an incoming device, we still get a glimpse of a larger internal display SAN camera cutout. On the outside, the outdoor display seems to have increased considerably. Instead of the poorly applied 4-inch display in the original Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 shows a render that looks like a full-size functional screen.
A larger external display instantly makes the Galaxy Z Fold 2 look like a usable device – especially when turned off. Looking at the camera module on the back, it looks like it mimics the design displayed in the renders of the previous Galaxy Note 20 series. However, we can only see the two lenses and the LED flash from sharing the single Galaxy Z Fold 2 render.
It’s not the most extensive leak at this stage but it does give an indication of what to expect from our follow-up foldable. With that, what do you think about the Pixelated Galaxy Z Fold 2 Render? Let us know in the comments section below.
