Final Fantasy is a hugely popular video game franchise that has spread over the decades with countless installments of video games. We have the mainline series with spin-offs and also re-create to enjoy the moment. Over the years, fans have been appealing to Square Enix for a remake of the iconic Final Fantasy Classic, Final Fantasy VII. It took several years, but the remake was recently released for the PlayStation 4.

This remake has changed a few things. For example, the gameplay has evolved from the theatrical turn-based RPG mechanic to a more interactive RPG experience. Think of the Kingdom Heart fight system as a reference to this installment. Moreover, we knew that this remake was going to be quite a big experience. As a result, there could be no single video game release that could tell the whole story of Square Enix’s plans for enhanced visuals and mechanics.

As a result, the game was supposed to be set in multiple parts. We don’t know just how many parts it’s going to take. For now, we only have the first installment but it looks like the development for the second part is going well. It came during a conversation he had with Yoshinori Kitases, a Japanese publishing house, Famitsu, the producer of Square Enix.

During the conversation, Yoshinori reflects his 2020, and with it comes the upcoming second installment of Final Fantasy Seventh Remake. According to the producer of Square Enix, the world of Final Fantasy VIII remake has just started and that development is going smoothly. That said, we’ll have to wait a little longer before we get more information about the game. At the moment, there is no release date on when we can expect to release this second installment.

Yoshinori Kitas also has a comment on the Fametsu Special 110 Creator Aspirations for the 2021 interview.

He noted that “the new world of FF7 has just begun” and that they are progressing smoothly with development. He says to wait a little longer for new information.
