The goal of the change is to reduce the workload of players, as leagues pack their schedules after a two-month suspension. Teams can only make options after three breaks in the game, including halftime, and the league offers only two replacements at once.
The German Football League also relaxed the position at the end of the season until June 30 after the player’s contract expired. A statement said the games could continue in July if the alternate season is left unfinished in late June.
The league said some matches could be moved to neutral venues if they could not play at the main stadium due to the risk of local infections.
If he can’t finish the season, he’s late in deciding how to make the final decision.
