Sushima’s Ghost officially goes gold, the developers go to celebrate on Twitter

Sukar Punch came out on Twitter this morning to announce that their highly anticipated PS4 exclusive title, Ghost of Tushima has finally gone gold!

Yes, this means that the launch date for Ghost of Sushima has been officially locked and there can be no further delay. Going to gold means the game is over, the developers will release after the game comes out in development despite minor updates. This is a memorable moment for the developers, as the development of this game has been going on for a long time. The wait is finally over, and soon we’ll see if the wait survives the hype!

In related news, Sony and developer Sucker Punch Productions recently held their own state-of-the-art Ghost of Sushimar.

The event lasted about 20 minutes long and featured plenty of new footage, which looks great.
