Fraser Foster’s contract with Celtic is far from over, but it appears that if the player makes the switch, it will be in a permanent contract.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Forster would be touring around St. Mary’s next season but it emerged that the goalkeeper was open to a move to Celtic but only if a permanent deal was possible.
The goalkeeper was in top form at the club last season, it has gone so well that most fans want to see Fraser back. When Moi has signed another loan, Fraser wants to pick a different place in his career and his long-term future.
Speaking about the possibility of players moving this summer, Southampton skipper Ralph Hassenhuttal told Sunsport that a decision on Fraser has not yet been made but will be looked into in the near future.
“We have not decided what we will do next season with our plans in this regard.
“Some of our loan players have done very well and it is clear that loan players do not want to take loans again.
“Usually they want to go somewhere else permanently and we find the right solution for every player in the summer.
“When the right moment is discussed, we do it.”
Celtic have no luxury when it comes to players The ague league starts in a few months and gets a European qualifier soon after. The club needs to pick the goalkeeping position as soon as possible.
