Samsung just unveiled a new product in August, but another Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled. On September 23rd, Samsung will host another event where we expect the company to officially unveil its Galaxy S20FE.
Samsung has teased its next new smartphone with the invitation shown below which will be unveiled later this month. This upcoming event is called “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan”, strongly suggesting the rumored name of this upcoming smartphone, Galaxy S20F or “Fan Version”.
The show will air live on the 23rd at 10am ET / 7am PT, but Samsung is not giving any further details at the moment.
Fortunately, we already know a bit about this upcoming smartphone.
According to recent leaks, including the release of WinFuture data, the Galaxy S20 FE will be an even more affordable version of the Galaxy S20 + that was launched earlier this year to ridicule reviews. The phone is expected to come in six colors – two of which are featured in Samsung’s official teaser image – and the Snapdragon 865, 120Hz display and triple-camera array.
To reduce its price, Samsung cut the display to 1080p, reduced the RAM to just 6GB and reduced other spaces like camera sensors. It is still a respectable offer and users will especially appreciate it for it will come at a lower price. Recently, the device showed up on Verizon which confirms that it will come to the US market.
