Ubisoft has a wide assortment of various iconic IPs for fans to enjoy. We’ve seen these iconic franchises get sequels and new installments over the years, but others have fallen a bit dormant. One of these dormant franchises is finally getting some new life and this is Prince of Persia. This IPT was leaked and the buzz was at a pretty good time when and today Ubisoft went ahead to confirm Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is being rebuilt for the current generation of video game platforms.

It was just the first trailer that shut down the game but we hope more content will be highlighted in the coming months. That being said, what we were able to gather at the Ubisoft Forward event is that Ubisoft has kept the same storyline intact. Instead of rebooting a brand new installment or franchise, those of you who enjoyed the release of Persia of Persia in 2003: Sands of Time will see that the game is going to be basically the same. Of course, with that being said, today’s modern platforms will have a few overhauls to make the game more interesting.

Players can still expect puzzles and fights from video games. Likewise, the same voice actors are back again to re-express their characters as the main character in the voice of Yuri Loethal.

Although Ubisoft has decided to re-remake the game without relaunching it, players can expect some superior detailed visuals and mechanics that will make the gameplay look like a modern third-person adventure game. Of course, the footage was on the alpha stage for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. It’s clear that fans weren’t satisfied with the visuals to see the release, but that should change as soon as our game starts production.

Currently, the Persian Prince: Sands of Time remake is scheduled to be released on January 21, 2021. For the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms, players expect the game to reach market segments. In the meantime, check out the new trailer above while we wait for the game to release.
