Just hours after Google’s announcement, OnePlus has just announced big news about the release of its Android 11. As of today, OnePlus 8 owners can download the official open beta for OxygenS11.
Both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are now suitable for Android 11-based Oxygen 11 Open Beta, as detailed in the official forum post. The release came just a few weeks ago from the developer preview stage and has seen mixed reactions from the public during that time. This new update, after all, comes with a number of great design overhauls.
Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that OnePlus is one of the first suppliers to Android 11 customers, even though it’s only a beta release for now. The extended release should be in the next few months.
