Stalker 2 was something that developers have tried to get off the ground in the past. While this title has been in development for a short time, it is finally over. However, several years later GSC Game World has got Stalker 2 back in development, although at the moment the details are somewhat scarce. We know that the video game will put players back in the role of a liberal hunter-gatherer wherever you go in the zone, a region that is highly publicized in the Chernobyl incident. As you search for loot and information, you will also find yourself searched by mutated enemies.
Outside of today, only one teaser title showed off. But development studio GSC Game World has decided to show a new trailer that offers a bit more gameplay. All that has been said so far is that this is engine gameplay footage and it’s just a teaser so don’t expect to do too much. Instead, it’s about a minute long, but with it you’ll get an idea of what to expect from the gameplay experience in terms of melody and atmosphere.
So far no release date has been attached to Stalker 2. We know that it is going to be launched in 2021 and like other studios there was probably a slight delay in production due to the global health epidemic outbreak. Nevertheless, the game was released at bKash Studios in 2021 for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC platforms. You can expect this game to be available at Xbox Game Pass at launch so that people who own the service will be able to enjoy it when it becomes available.
