Most Apple Watch Series 5 models are unavailable from Apple before the rumor Series 6 release

With the fall coming we were expecting the announcement of new Apple products at any time, including the iPhone 12 and the Apple Watch Series 6, ready to launch the next generation of Apple Watch today.

Consumers have noticed that some Apple Watch Series 5 models have disappeared from Apple’s online store, and now even basic models like the aluminum case and the white sport band are unavailable.

9to5Mac has verified Appleā€™s website in several countries and the stock crisis of the Apple Watch Series 5 model is most notable in the United States, China and Japan, the availability in Europe seems normal. In other countries, such as Brazil, the estimated shipping time for most Apple Watch models is two weeks

The pickup option is also not available for some models but is more relevant due to the closure of several Apple stores around the world.

John Processor said on Twitter that Apple will announce the next generation of Apple Watch this week, probably Tuesday morning. But Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman noted that Apple’s announcement this week could be an invitation to a special online event later this month where the company will officially announce the new Apple Watch model and the iPhone 12.

The Apple Watch Series 6 is expected to have the same design as the Series 5, but has new sensors and features, including improved blood oxygen level detection and improved sleep monitoring. A recent rumor has it that Apple will also launch a new, more affordable Apple Watch model that will replace both the Apple Watch Series 3 and the Apple Watch Series 5, but the details are unclear.
