Logitech Unveils New Folio Touch Keyboard + Trackpad Case for 11 Inch iPad Pro

Logitech has unveiled a new Logitech Folio Touch keyboard case with a trackpad for the 11-inch iPad Pro. This follows the release of the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case with trackpad for the iPad 7 which we reviewed in depth earlier this year.

The Folio Touch connects to the iPad Pro via the iPad’s smart connector. The back has a built-in kickstand, which is not great for weakness, but allows the keyboard to be folded in all directions. Smart connector integration means no need to charge the Folio Touch, as it brings power from the iPad Pro itself.

The keyboard features a whole range of shortcut keys for the iPadS, including quick access to the home screen, screen brightness, volume media control, and more. Also, the keys themselves are backlit. Logitech finds that the Folio Touch has a laptop-like design that brings flexibility and protection with its adjustable kickstand and foldable keyboard:

“The Folio Touch brings iPad Pro users a familiar and comfortable laptop keyboard layout with incredible flexibility and protection,” said Michelle Harman, vice president of mobility at Logitech. “With compatible kickstands and foldable keyboards, iPad Pro users can use the laptop as a keyboard and trackpad to finish work, and then easily move the keyboard if they want to sketch, watch or read videos.”

The iPadS 13.4 adds a variety of new optimizations to the iPad experience for trackpads. These features work not only with the Apple iPad Pro’s own magic keyboard, but also with third-party accessories and standalone trackpads. These optimizations are what Logitech is lapping up for its growing keyboard and trackpad.

The Logitech Folio Touch will be available this month through Logitech’s website and Apple’s online store for 159.99. For now, there is no word on when a version of the Logitech Folio Touch can be expected for the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
