Local car dealerships are coming together to help small businesses

New Bern, NC. (WNCT) Swiss Bear Inc., seven local car dealerships in collaboration with the New Burn Chamber of Commerce. Organized COVID-19 donated to 35,000 to the Small Business Program.

The money donated will be used as loans to small businesses who need assistance in the economic downturn of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Partner Stores: Celela Ford, Chevrolet of New Burn, Hyundai of New Burn, Peaches Honda, Riverside Auto Group, Toyota of New Burn and Trent Cadillac Buick GMC each contributed 000 5,000 as part of the small business community.

The idea for this assistance began in late April, when it was reported that very few organizations received assistance from the federal government through the Pay-Roll Protection Program (PPP) or the EIN (EIDL) for Disaster Management of Financial Victims.

Applications are submitted online with the Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Beer to ensure neutrality and within the guidelines related to the program.

Although the loan limit for the deal is 10,000 10,000, depending on the monthly rent or mortgage, it is an interest-free loan for the first 12 months without any payments.

Loan activities should start before the end of May.
