The Minnesota Murder in ID traveled to Mound City in the northern state in the summer of 2005 to investigate Jeffrey Skeleton’s crimes.

Jeffrey Skeleton, along with Michael Delmore, angered his wife, Marilyn Skeleton, so much that he threw her into Minetonka Lake, even though he knew she could not swim.

Skeleton returned and left the lake for a short time before leaving Marilyn out of the water and into the bottom of the fish. That night she went to stay at her lover’s house.

Two days later, on Sunday morning, Skeleton went to Delmore’s house and collapsed. While Mar Marlin was raining, he entered the kitchen and shot Michael Delmore five times. Delmore suffered injuries to his chest, eyes, legs and groin.

Skeleton then went to the bathroom, where he pointed the firearm at Marilyn from time to time and then fled the scene.

Marilyn called the police, who carried out a tactic throughout the city. At one point, Skeleton telephoned a local radio station to say he only wanted to shoot Delmore in the leg.

Jeffrey Skeleton turned himself

About six hours after the shooting, Skeleton approached a deputy from the Henepin County Sheriff’s Office and removed himself. “I’ve done what I wanted to do; I’ll take myself inside,” he told the assistant.
