After a long absence in the high-mid-range mobile market, the HTC U20 is back with a release – which looks like it has enough offers.
An event in Taipei has been announced alongside the HTC Desire 20 Pro, who are looking forward to the flagship HTC device, but you’ll be disappointed. The 8.6-inch display is LCD instead of AMOLED, which is partly because it has a rear-fingerprint scanner rather than an in-display reader.
It comes in FHD + flavor, which comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G-enabled chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage (with microSD card expansion), dual SIM support, and a full 5,000mAh battery. These specifications certainly make the HTC U20 a bit more attractive than it initially was.
On the back of the HTC U20, there is a quad camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Assuming 2020 as a mid-ranger is not a bad mix. On the front, the punch-hole display has a 32-megapixel camera.
It will go on sale from July 1 with a price tag of NT $ 18,990, which equates to about প্রায় 640. It may seem a bit high to some of you. It can be found in green alone.
No word on potential global availability, but a strong start will soon see the HTC U20 firm expand into more markets. However, HTC told Engadget that “the dual-phone launch was perfectly an initiative of Taiwan.” This will probably close the door to global launches in the future.
