How to keep children moving and healthy during an epidemic

Greenville, NC. (WNCT) School districts across the Eastern District are using a mix of private and distance learning this fall semester.

Healthcare providers want parents to pay close attention to their child’s health while at home.

In the United States, 30% of children under the age of 17 are considered overweight or obese.

The American Heart Association points out the causes of these problems at a young age.

Erin Fox of the American Heart Association said, “We really want children to be able to move. We want to make sure they have access to healthy food and that they can lead healthy lives.”

Health experts see health problems more commonly in adults than in children with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and elevated cholesterol.

These problems put children at higher risk for lifelong health problems. Experts say that’s why it’s important to take care of your child’s health, especially during this epidemic.

“Everyone is sitting at home right now and we don’t want to be in the Quid-19 and stay at home. Everything is virtual. It affects more people than it already has, and so we’re just trying to do everything we can to meet people.” They are. Do what we can, ”Fox said
