Apple released the seventh iOS 14 beta yesterday and it has been bundled with a few notable updates. Check out our short video walkthrough as we explore the new iOS 14 beta 7 changes and features.
What’s new in iOS 14 Beta 7?
- Updated Applications Library section
- New wallpapers
While the new iOS 14 Beta 7 changes and features aren’t obvious, a few changes are relatively noticeable. First and foremost, the App Library contains much-needed modifications. More precisely, the auto-organized app sections have been updated with more relevant folders like productivity and finance, travel, and shopping and food categories.
The App Library is a big change in the way iOS works and the biggest change in the way apps are organized on the iPhone since the App Store debut. I hope Apple expands its app library to make it more user-friendly.

Another standout feature of iOS 14 Beta 7 is the addition of six new wallpapers featuring Apple’s iconic six-color theme from its classic logo. These new wallpapers have a lighter and darker version with a variant for each of the six colors of the logo.
The interesting thing about these new wallpapers is that the darker versions are all the same and only change color for a black background. A true difference between the darker and lighter versions can create 12 new wallpapers instead of just six. My suggestion is that Apple snatch the color of the wallpaper in a darker color without going to all the black backgrounds.
As we get closer to the iOS 14 GM release, we expect new changes and features to come off. What do you think of these two new enhancements in iOS 14 Beta 7? Close the word in the comments below with your feedback.
