Gossip Girl Reboot | Eli Brown drops hints about the character

Eli Brown – HBO Max’s Gossip Girl Reboot star – has revealed that his character is “a really good guy”.

Although little is known about the iconic teen drummer Rimpamp, which took place eight years after the original series aired, the 19-year-old Brown inspired fans with a few details about his character.

Speaking to Entertainment tonight, he said: “We were asked to keep very confidential information, even very little information, but I can tell you that my character is really a good man.

“He comes from a very rich family and he is a humanitarian.”

Ready for release next year, the reboot will follow a new batch of disadvantaged, wealthy teenagers living on New York’s Upper East Side whose lives are flooded after the Gossip Girls site was relaunched.

Brown, who featured Pretty Little Liars in Spin-Off the Perfectionist, further revealed that she only started the original show in 2007 after playing her character.

“My sister saw it. Once I got the role (in Gossip Girl Reboot) I came close and I watched most of the first season. “But I’m now moving to LA where I don’t have a TV or WiFi, so I’m turning off the grid right now,” he said.

He added that he is looking forward to shooting in New York, even if “social distance and safety alerts” change the city. “It’s going to be a very different experience than I thought, but it’s still going to be great. We’re repeating something that was enjoyed by so many people. It’s going to be fun.”

Brown will star in the series alongside Emily Allen Lind (Revenge), Whitney Peak (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and Jonathan Fernandez (Lethal Weapon), and Kristen Bell (The Good Place) is back in the voice of Gossip Girl.

The producers of the original series, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage Executive, will create the new episode, and Joshua Safran (Quantico) will act as the showrunner.

The reboot of the HBO Max was originally set for release this fall, but the coronavirus virus went back to May 2021 due to production delays due to the epidemic.
