Google Stage enables Android TV support [Video]

Google Stage Entries has followed the progress of Google’s Android TV platform, but it’s a slow process. Today, though, there is good news. Google Stage works on Android TV! It is not official and the same kind of pain should be placed. Explain this to me.

The latest version of Google Stage on Android 2.19 version opens the door for any device to play in Android Stadium. The support is in an “experimental” state but it works quite well here and for the most part.

With a cool update, however, Google Stage allows it to run on Android TV. With previous updates the app was able to install and open on Android TV, but Android TV was unable to use the methods to access any Google Account. Now that barrier is gone and the stadium can be opened on almost any television set.

Catch it. The app is not yet fully ready with Android TV. To use it, you will need:

The mouse is required, as can be seen in the video below, because it is the “only way to touch” to log in. Also, you need to acknowledge that this warning is “experimental” input before you can play games.

When things are over and running, however, the games go really well! I tested it using an Xbox controller in the vicinity of Google’s ADT-3 developer device. As you can see in the video above, the performance in the game was almost flawless.

At the moment, Google’s Android TV needs to work on the actual Stadium UI. When to arrive? We don’t know the answer right now, but we’ll report on the progress.
