He needs it. When the consequences of their relationship result in a tragic and tragic death, Ophelia finds herself trapped in a world where she can no longer trust her own mind. “

The play is produced by New Pictures, the production company behind The Missing and Catherine the Great. It was written by Lisa McGee and writing partner (and husband) Tobias Beer, and directed by Chloe Thomas.

Who are the actors of cheating?

Ordinary people star Paul Mescal in a character named Sean, Emily Reed (as seen with Maggie Cole in The Trouble, and Belgravia) in the role of Ophelia.

Eleanor Methven (Little Women) plays Mary Mulvary, Raisin’s devoted but sometimes arrogant mother; Ian McElhanny (Game of Thrones, Derry Girls) plays Michael’s father, Hugh, who is beginning to experience dementia; Shelley Conn (Lear) plays Raisin’s “intelligent and loyal” best friend Ruth, while Dempsey Bowell (Patrick Melros) plays Matthew-Michael’s confidant and his biggest fan.

Authors Lisa McGee and Tobias Bear said: “We always had a‘ dream cast ’in mind when we started working on the show, but we never thought we would actually be with them. Directed by the brilliant Chloe Thomas, we are thrilled to have the story in the hands of such a gift.
