Nintendo has a huge collection of IPs that fans are in love with and are constantly looking for new installments. One of these IPs is The Legend of Zelda, a game that goes back to the time of the original Nintendo entertainment system and usually found its way to the latest hardware release from Nintendo. However, not every installment was like that and over the years there was usually a certain game that stood on top of the rest, The Legend of Zelda: Okarina of Time.
Surprisingly, the game quickly eroded when Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is a brand new installment that has taken players into a huge open world that gives fans complete control over where to go and what to do. A few years after its release, fans are still fully enjoying the game, but it was in 2019 that Nintendo confirmed that a sequel was underway.
We did not get the full details of what the next installment will be. A short cinematic trailer shows our protagonist out in the depths of Hayrul where a new evil awakens. Since this is a new installment set in the same world, the developers are planning to make some big adjustments to the overall map. At any rate, we have to wait a bit before we get any new information.
The information came from Zelda producer The Legendary IG Aonumar, who spoke about the game during a video for Hierol Warriors: Age of Claim. During the video, the producers thanked those who enjoyed The Legend Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but then the development studio will need a little more time to make the world wider and more impressive than the experience we gained in the original installment. As a result, we haven’t received any updates for a while.
