One of the key features of Apple’s new Fitness + Workouts service is the deep integration with Apple Music. One of the ways in which this is now manifesting itself is with a dedicated section in the music app, which allows users to quickly see playlists from Fitness + Workout.
Apple Music Service has a new fitness section from Apple, under which you will find various playlists dedicated to Apple Fitness + find Apple refers to these as “Studio Series Playlists” and says that the playlists were created by Apple Music Editor and Apple Fitness + Instructors.
The Apple Fitness + team brings together the world’s best trainers to train you through rewarding workouts for all levels of fitness or experience. So they know one or two things about inspiration, music and how music can play a role. With your next workout, the instructor team, including the editors of Apple Music, the Studio series modified playlists, calibrated each track and designed to maintain your strength and help you finish the last set, run the last mile, or take the last pose. Choose your workout, hit play and it’s ready to crash.
Studio series playlists are dedicated to specific types of workouts such as cycling, treadmill, rowing, HIIT and many more. Apple also has playlists for specific genres such as “Country Run” and “Authentic Dance Row”.
You can find these playlists by going to the Search tab of the Apple Music app and searching the “Fitness” section.
And of course, you can search for songs and playlists for specific workouts in the fitness app under the Fitness + tab. For each workout, you’ll find a “Listen to Music” button that takes you directly to the playlist of that workout in the Music app.
