Apple Developer app updated before WWDC 2020 with MacOS version

WWDC 2020 will start next Monday 22nd June and due to the COPD-19 epidemic Apple is getting ready for the first full virtual conference. In preparation for the event, Apple has just released a new update to its official Apple Developer app, which will allow users and developers to view full sessions online.

Formerly known as the WWDC app, the Apple Developer app provides developers access to videos and articles, including technical videos of new features on recently released hardware, such as the new iPhone or iPad. Apple has chosen the app for the keynote speech at the opening of WWDC 2020 as well as other sessions scheduled for next week.

Today’s update contains more information on the WWDC 2020 schedule that includes a favorite redesigned content option in addition to a newly designed Discovery tab and an updated Browse tab. You can read the full disclosure note below:

The redesigned Discovery tab tab lets you know the latest stories, news, videos and more
Videos are an alternative to favorite individual articles in addition to video and session content.
The Browse Browse tab has been updated, where you can search for existing sessions, videos, articles and news.
Conference The WWDC tab has been updated in preparation for the conference.
. Various enhancements and bug fixes.

Another big update is that the Apple Developer app is now available for MacOS for the first time through Catalyst technology.

How to get WWDC app for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac

  1. Search the App Store for WWDC or Apple Developers on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac or click on this link
  2. Download and open the Apple Developer app, then tap Accounts At the bottom right to sign
  3. See WWDC 20 in detail WWDC tab Down
  4. Tap Browse Tab to see WWDC keynote and all other sessions and content from this year’s conference

The event will begin with a keynote address at a special event Monday, June 22 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET. The event will be streamed “live from Apple Park” and will be available for viewing through Apple’s website, Apple developer Apple, Apple TV app and YouTube. Other sessions will be available exclusively on the Apple Developer app
