Google’s Android 11 beta has finally been downgraded recently and the various official covers of the release have a striking wallpaper that is surprisingly not in the current release. Now, there’s a way to get it … kind of.
If you look for new features on Android 11, even in Google’s developer-focused videos or some of the government resources handed over by the company for investigation, there is a sparkling purple / blue wallpaper. It is not uncommon for Google to release a new stock wallpaper alongside a newer version of Android, but in this case the wallpaper was quite elusive.
If you install Android 11 Beta on a Google Pixel smartphone, this new wallpaper is simply not present. On the OnePlus 8 device, though. However, despite our efforts to dig through the beta release on the OnePlus device, we just couldn’t find that original file.
Yet at least there is a way to get this wallpaper in spirit. A designer recently posted a remake of the Android 11 beta wallpaper on Twitter, the same color and shape that actually brought the original work to fruition. The colors are a bit off, but they are really close! These are basically identical if you don’t see them side by side.
Have fun! The designer is hosting the file 3168 x 1440 In Google Drive, And we made a mirror here too. That same designer is also the source of several great wallpapers. Be sure to take a scroll to his Twitter account.
