The Android 10 update is now being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Tab S5e, so they make a few Android tablets running the latest OS.
(Update 06/27): If you own a Tab S4 in the US, we have some good news because Samsung has confirmed that the Android 10 update, including One UI 2.1, is now being rolled out via Sammobile. It also comes with a 2020 security patch and some Android Build number T830XXU4CTF5 has arrived for those hoping to get 10 Action Power.
At about 1.5 to 2 GB in size, it has been updated in full size and has a wide range of changes to match it. You’ll get the new Android 10 gestures, enhanced dark mode, updated icons and colors, smooth animations, enhanced camera app experience, and a literal bootload on top
Fans and owners of the Tab S4 and Tab S5e will undoubtedly be happy that they will soon be running Android 10 on two of the few Android tablets we can recommend.
The Tab S5 has started rolling out in the UK with the Android 10 firmware version T725XXU1BTF7 In addition to the 2020 security patch (via Sammobile) is bringing the latest OS upgrade in a huge 2GB package. We’re not sure if this update comes as One UI 2.0 or 2.1, which probably comes with a ton of potential camera and software features.
That said, you’ll still get advanced system dark themes, advanced animations and transitions, infinitely improved Android 10 gestures, tons more on top. This should be quite an update for the Tab S5 but it will be a much bigger leap for the Tab S4.
Reports suggest that LTE versions of the Galaxy Tab S4 in France are now available on Android 10 (via Sammobile). Although we’re still not sure which version of the One UI runs on the Tab S5e, we can confirm that the OneUI 2.1 is available for the Tab S4.
Once you upgrade to the firmware version T835XXU4CTF5 On your LTE Galaxy Tab S4, you’ll find the June 2020 protection patch, all the Android 10 tweets mentioned earlier, a few more plastic tweets as well as a ton of stock pre-installed apps, advanced cameras and new features for the gallery here and there.
If you have a tablet, you should see the roll out of the Android 10 update in the UK and France, respectively. We expect more extensive rollouts in the coming days and weeks.
