Despite the upcoming rollout of Android 11 on the horizon, the Android 10 (Go version) update has now started rolling out for Nokia 2.1.
The smartphone is quite long in the teeth now now 2 years old, but it is quite a leap from the smell of Android Pie – or Android Go. Nokia has confirmed that the Android 10 update will begin rolling out in Asian markets in the coming weeks before a more comprehensive rollout.
For those who are wondering, the first wave of Nokia 2.1 Android 10 update will include mainly Asian countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
It may disappoint many people not to be in one of the worthy countries but we are sure that Nokia is focusing first on its largest market and wide users.
The rollout should be finalized by September 2020. However, it can often be slippery in terms of release time.
If you have installed Android 10 (Go version) on your Nokia 2.1, be sure to let us know how you download it in the comments below.
