The anchor powerhouse battery has been a favorite here for a long time at 9to5Toys. The latter of which comes with a smaller design and capacity but packs an AC outlet, which is one of the defining features of this line. With a flashlight with multiple USB-A and C ports, this battery can do it all. Scroll down for the summary and short arm of Anchor Powerhouse 100.

Anchor Powerhouse 100 is a mobile-it-all battery

Anchor’s Power House 100 sports more portable designs than our previous iteration. This means that this battery is more suitable for smartphones and tablets than it is for camping or recharging large devices.

Dual USB ports push the single USB-C port up to 45 W while the ports are limited to 2.4A. There is also a 100W AC outlet, which can power a wide range of products and still give flexibility to the level we have learned from other powerhouse offerings in Anchor.

Here is the complete breakdown of the glasses:

  • Built-in 100W wall outlet: Charge mobile devices, laptops, drones, cameras and small applications – all from a single compact power source.
  • Simultaneous Charging: With a 45W USB-C port, 2 USB ports and a 100W AC outlet, you can now charge up to 4 devices at once without sacrificing power.
  • Huge capacity: 2020 MacBook Air 1.5 times, a DJI Mavic Mini 3-4 times, and an iPhone 11 equipped with a huge 27,000 mAh capacity to charge up to 5 times.
  • High-speed charging: Use the 45W USB-C port to fully charge the 2020 MacBook Air in just 2 hours.

Tested with 9to5

I reviewed the first anchor powerhouse a few years ago, mentioning its sleek design and ability to take on just about anything in your technology arsenal. However, the specific fall was an impression of how big the original model was. In subsequent years, the battery has become smaller, but larger than 200 T.O. Enter the latest version, which is significantly smaller and has many of the same features at lower capacity.

The internal capacity has been reduced with the latest iteration, the more compact design makes it easier to carry around. I enjoyed it on the road trip. The AC port slowly provides protection against the USB-C port which is at the top at 45 W ps In my tests, I found that the Powerhouse 100 easily charges my MacBook Pro more than once in about two hours.

The integrated flashlight is a great touch, but the value isn’t huge. If you keep it as a backup in your car, it is easy to find the value with the flashlight. It may not be too much for everyday use.

Including a list price 160, Power House 200 rather expensive. But considering the AC outlet on board, if you need that extra level of functionality, there are many things to choose from here. Overall, I recommend the Power House 200 as an upgraded battery if you are a frequent traveler or want to work at a coffee shop.
