With countless WWE wrestlers and promoters accused of misconduct during the #spippingout movement, it’s time to look at 10 wrestlers convicted or convicted of a heinous crime. Some of this may surprise you.

1. Chris Benoit – Double Murder Suicide

WWE Wrestler Chris Benoit is known for all the wrong reasons these days because even though he was one of the best wrestlers of all time, he went down in history as a murderer.

In 2007, authorities discovered the bodies of Chris, Nancy and Daniel Benoit during a welfare test. Police discovered Nancy and Daniel were soon murdered.

Investigators concluded that Benoit had killed his wife and son. Years later, medical professionals brought his crimes to the CTE.

To this day, controversy surrounds the death of the Benoit family. Some still believe Benoit did not commit the murder.

2. Jimmy Snooka – Third Degree Murder

On May 10, 1983, Snooka called an ambulance for his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino. Snooka claims to have found his girlfriend after tapping WWF TV.

Nancy died shortly after arriving at Allentown Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Coroner said Nancy died of a scheduled craniocerebral injury. However, the autopsy also showed dozens of cuts and bruises in line with domestic torture.

Interestingly, snooker was not sued years later. However, Nancy’s parents won a lawsuit against WWE Wrestler in 1988.

Former WWE Wrestler Jimmy Snooka was charged in 2015 with third-degree murder and volunteer murder. However, the case was dismissed due to Snooker’s deteriorating health.

3. D.T. Porter – First degree merder, stanking, and decency

Another WWE wrestler charged with murder is none other than DT Porter. However, the former wrestler has been convicted of this crime.

In 2013, DT Porter was charged with first-degree murder of his ex-girlfriend. The crime was shameless and very incredible to understand.

Border stabbed the 25-year-old victim in the neck and torso. He did this in front of numerous witnesses in the victim’s apartment complex.

Shortly after the murder, Porter Brave posted a picture of his victim’s bloody hand on his Facebook. He even used it as his Facebook picture.

Porter was arrested after a speeding police chase. He was sentenced to life in prison.

DT Porter worked for the WWE from 2010 to 2012. He originally spent time in Florida Championship wrestling.

4. Attacker – Murder

In this brief description many wrestlers have never faced justice for their crimes. This is also the case with the attacker (Jose Gonzalez), who worked for the WWF in the 80s.

In July 1988, Gonzalez lured Browser Brody into the shower for a business conversation. After that, he continued to stab the wrestler and left him dead.

Gonzalez, a former WWE wrestler, was arrested shortly after the murder. However, Wrestler was acquitted after the lawyer demanded self-defense.

5. Steve Guitarwolf – Raised batteries and child abuse

Steve Gatorwolf was a WWE employee in the 80’s. Bret Hart later said his chances in the WWE career were to go down forever, wasting his place on the battle dance.

Gatorwolf disappeared from the spotlight for a while after being released from the WWE. However, he will eventually end up on the circuit of MMA and illegal fighting.

Gatorwolf will become more famous for all the wrong reasons. In 2001, he was charged with aggravated battery and convicted.

In 2014, Gatorwolf wanted a quiet life working as a lorry driver. However, a warrant was issued for his arrest, alleging child abuse.

Gatorwolf was charged with seven counts of gang rape against a child. He was convicted during the trial and sentenced to 16 years in prison.

6. Stone Cold Steve Austin – Domestic abuse

Many wrestling fans don’t realize that Stone Cold Steve Austin was actually convicted of domestic violence. Stone Cold has been charged with domestic violence several times over the years.

In 2004, Stone Cold’s girlfriend, Tess Browserd, accused him of physical abuse. He further claimed that he went to a women’s shelter for fear of his safety.

Allegations of domestic abuse will re-emerge during Debra’s marriage to Strain Cold. During one of their arguments, Debra called the police and lodged a complaint.

Devara claims that Stone Cold threw him and beat him. Stone promised no competition during the winter trial and was given one year of probation and community service.

7. Jack Gallagher – Sexual Abuse

This story was recently published as a result of the #SpeakersOut movement. Following the release of the allegations, WWE released Jack Gallagher.

A woman named Becky came out on social media with the story. He accused the wrestler of sexual misconduct, which took place in 2014, the day before the New Year.

According to Becky, Gallagher advanced towards her, which she refused. This eventually led Gallagher to grab her and tear off her skirt.

They closed his contract at the scene due to an internal investigation by the WWE. As far as we know, no criminal case has been filed against him.

8. Alberto del Rio – sexual abuse

Former WWE Champion Alberto del Rio is currently facing sexual harassment charges.

On May 3, Del Rio allegedly submitted his victim to sexual harassment charges. As the case is quite graphic, we will not go into too much detail.

The wrestler was arrested shortly after the sexual assault. He eventually posted 50,000 bonds and was released from prison.

9. Sunny – chaotic behavior, theft, DUI’s, violating security orders ers

There are a number of criminal charges against Sunny for the count. Some of them are not as serious as the allegations mentioned earlier, but it seems Sunny has not learned from her mistakes.

Since 2012, Sunny has had nothing but legal issues. He was charged with third-degree theft, breach of defense order, disorderly conduct and numerous UBI cases.

Numerous charges eventually went to Sunny’s run. He was eventually arrested in 2018 and jailed several times.

Sunny was released from prison on February 25, 2020.

10. Shadow – use domestic violence

Chaina was abused by most men in her life, but she became aggressive during her relationship with X-Pack. In fact, the WWW wrestler was arrested for domestic violence.

The shadow attacked Waltman, the report said. He has suffered numerous punches and kicks in front of his children.

This story is also surrounded by some controversy. In fact, some believe the story was a publicity stunt with the release of X-Pack and Shadow’s controversial tape.
