Sometimes truth is more unfamiliar than fiction and today we are dealing with the strangest, most incredible mysteries in some of our favorite games. On the holidays the kids would talk about this kind of thing – strange hidden features that seemed very strange to be real. Yes, some of the random rumors proved to be 100% true and we are focusing on them today.

Mysterious White Todd House (Super Mario Bros. 3)
If you’ve heard of it, raise your hand – after finishing the random stage at Super Mario Brush Brand 3, for NES, a mysterious white toad house appears on the map. Inside, Mario found an all-powerful p-wing, the most useful item in the game. It’s a rumor that spread to elementary schools in the late ’80s, and most surprisingly, it turned out to be completely true.
By collecting the right amount of coins in certain Mario 3 levels, it is possible to see the house of a strange White Todd. Depending on the number of levels you will get different items – either P-wing or useless anchor. The number of coins you need is seemingly random and the levels you have to beat are completely random. I have no idea how anyone found out about this; However, it is highly commendable that any school child can accidentally stumble completely. Learn more about the White Todd House on the Mario Wiki.

Turning butterflies into butterflies (Gelder Legend: Okarina of Time)
Another wild mystery has emerged: Legend of Zelda: Okarina of Time. Butterflies usually do nothing in this classic N64 game. These just shake around and give you a clue that there is a secret hole nearby. Otherwise, there is no reason to contact them.
If there is no decu stick. If you perform a very, very specific activity – holding a decu stick to a butterfly, touch the end, then walk slowly to lead the butterfly – the butterfly will transform into a fairy. Then you can grab it with a bottle and heal yourself! This is a very random secret. Who found it ?!
Why does it work that way? I have no idea. Maybe it’s related to Mario to4 – in this game, you punch in a cluster of Mario fairies, different items appear! Sometimes it’s a 1-up and sometimes it’s a bomb. There is one more strange mystery for you.
